Gas Gas 250 Trials Mint Condition

Gas Gas TX 250 1998/1999 Trials.  Blue. White Powder Coated Frame.

This is a 250 bike.   Not 280 as the decals say.   It has been standing for about 18 months in my workshop.

It was trialed by my son up until I decided to overhaul it. Finished it about two years ago and its stood since. I put fuel in it the other day and it started first kick.

Carburettor seems to have a blocked jet on tick over only.  Runs but a slight fuel starvation on tick over only.  Revs fine.  Have some new jets here. but I  will try and clean it out this week if I have time. Needs a little fine tuning to make perfect.

Brakes feel a little spongy possible need a bleed.   Apart from that its good.  

Engine main bearings replaced and big end bearings and seals when engine was out.

New water pump bearings and impellor. New clutch. And full gasket set. Some hoses where replaced and filled with cool run anti freeze.   The bike has a lot of highly polished parts. but has some scrapes as with all trials bikes.   Don?ˆ™t have the time or room anymore.

Rare bike with no bits missing. Even the chain guards and (original ) disc covers are still on it.  

Will make a great starter bike for some one.

It has a low reserve. Advertised elseware reserve the right to remove the advert.

Carbon exhaust cover and new bleed nipples and covers.
