Moto Morini 350 Strada.

Moto Morini 3 1/2 Strada. 1976 UK model. V5 in my name and currently on SORN. last on the road in 2009. 25410 miles shown on the clock and believed to be the genuine mileage. when I bought the bike in 2008 the seller said it had been in storage for 8 years. The bike is running and the engine sounds sweet. It has a new battery which is to big for the battery tray so is sat on a piece of plywood as a temporary measure. in a senior moment I bought the wrong size. Apart fom the non standard paint and the missing side panel badges it is in reasonable order for its age. the silencers were new when I bought the bike. but now have slight pitting. nothing serious though. There is a Harglo workshop manual. last MOT cert. receipt from NLM for the silencers and a old copy of MCN with review of the model.  However there are some points worth mentioning. these are:  There is some play in the swinging arm.  so the bushes will need replacing. The disc. headlight brackets. downpipes. handlebars. airfilters and kickstart all have surface rust. The heat shield on the rear downpipe is missing. and there is a small hole where this downpipe meets the balance pipe. The left side screw for the ignition pickup cover  is snapped off. see picture 4. The dipswitch has a piece missing. see picture 6. There is  damage to the paint and a slight dent to the offside of the petrol tank near the headstock. see picture 7. The  front parking light does not work. the wiring in the headlight has been messed about with. otherwise the wiring is ok. A reluctant sale due to relocation and the realisation that I have too many bikes. and the fact that I never got on with left hand kickstart. The bike is located near Windermere.
