CZ 250 MX 1988 - UNFINISHED PROJECT - V5 LOGBOOK - MOTO X - SUPERMOTO - JAWA

Here we have a 1988 CZ250 motocross bike that i got a couple of years ago. most of the work was done by the previous owner. the original plan was to turn it into a supermoto (just have the wheels rebuilt with smaller rims) as it's road registered but i've got a couple of other projects on the go and no time for this so it might as well go. Overall condition is good. it's had a lot of new stuff and other things which are:New exhaust (painted red for some reason?)new tyresnew chain and sprocketsnew shocksnew mudguardsnew side panelsnew nose fairing (not wired)it's also had a Kawasaki front end. i was told it's off a KDX250 but i don't know? it does have a cut out on the hub for a speedo drive. It's also fitted with Motoplat electronic ignition. It starts up ok but coughs and splutters when pulling away. i suspect the carb needs setting up etc. there no charging circuit on these so if you are going to use it on the road you'll have to sort something else out. of course you could just race it (better brake than the standard bike)So that's about it. i've got the latest V5c logbook it's a Q plate. please remember that this is being sold as seen and described. an unfinished project for spares or repair. no guarentee is given or implied.
