My husband purchased this bike recently off ebay with the intention of our son using it for college. The bike looked in fantastic condition and the mileage showed it had been hardly used. On my sons first outing the bike had a major brake failure. Luckily my son wasn?ˆ™t injured and the bike didn?ˆ™t get damaged but as you can imagine it really shook him up. I don?ˆ™t really understand what happened but my husband explained it like this. The bike only had a single foot pedal to operate both front and rear hydraulic brakes. you would assume that like on a car it would have a split system but no it didn?ˆ™t any hydraulic failure resulted in no brakes. We had the brake system repaired with new master cylinder?ˆ™s and modified so the front and rear brakes now have separate master cylinders and the front brake now operates from a lever the rear from the foot pedal the same as a traditional  motorcycle set up. Also the bike has a separate independent parking brake. We are reasonably sure the person who sold us the bike had no idea about the brake problem although there is a repair bill for a brake issue in the paper work provided when we purchased it. The only other modification that we can see was done by a previous owner. the addition of separate indicators. my husband says this is a good modification as the original ones were not that visible. he says it looks like to put it back to original would not be that hard if you wanted to.

Anyhow even after all the money we have spent my son hates the bike and has no interest in riding it again (it was more my husband?ˆ™s idea than my son?ˆ™s in the first place). The bike has some slight scratches but seems to now be in good working order.

I am sick of the arguments so I have decided we are selling it again. the asking price is what we originally paid for the bike. The bike will be sold as seen with no warranty implied or provided. and no returns. the same as when we purchased it.

Now the bit that genuine buyers will understand. I am listing it as a classified advert to allow people to and view and bring cash to buy and collect. Test rides will only be allowed if I have the cash in my hand and you have proof of insurance allowing you to ride it
