Mondial Cavalcone 50cc 1963 very rare moped (not Garelli, Gilera or Aermacchi)

Hi. for sale is my very rare 1963 Mondial Cavalcone 49cc moped. I bought this lovely little machine just under 2 years ago with the intention of getting it registered and riding it. Unfortunately due to conflicting advice as to how you go about this (and the purchase of another machine). I've been unable to get it registered.  It was running when I bought it. but is currently not starting and probably needs fresh fuel and oil and the carburettor cleaning out. However. there is compression when you try to kick start it. I believe it's had some modifications as I think the petrol tank used to be flush with the frame and was originally the same red colour as the frame. as were the chainguard and mudguards. These were taken down to base metal and some surface rust has appeared since. A small toolbox has also been added. Tyres are in very good condition showing virtually no wear. There is no speedo cable. It has a 3 speed hand change gearbox. The seat and overall frame are in good condition with some chips to the paintwork as you might expect on a 51 year old moped. The only paperwork I have for it is an NACC identification document which may help with registering it. I'd love this to go to a good home where someone knows what they're doing and can finally get it on the road where it deserves to be. I would advise viewing before bidding.
