ARIEL HUNTMASTER WITH WATSONIAN SINGLE SEAT SIDECAR

This was the last year of the Huntmaster which from 1954 was fitted with the BSA A10 engine following the takeover of Ariel by BSA.  The Ariel was kept going purely by the following of their concerning clientele who required a superior frame and bodywork coupled with total build quality. Following the finding and purchasing back by the first owner. the machine underwent a two year complete rebuild and the fitting of the Watsonian sidecar in 1995 at a cost then of some £3000Always a good starter. the outfit has covered owners club rallies both at home and all over Europe. Any inspection welcome by appointment.  MOT  exempt. Taxed as a Historic vehicle with no cost involved. Taxed until May 2015 though existing legislation indicates this cannot be transferred with the bike. As mentioned earlier. on the downside (refer photos)a small dent in the rear mudguard below number plate and a slight colour mismatch on the side car mudguard. On the plus side.  Transferable number which of coarse has it's own value. magneto just been rebuilt with a two year guarantee.
