SUZUKI GSX 750 HARD TAIL BOBBER / CHOPPER

GOLDEN OPPORTUNITY.

For someone who knows a great bike when they see one & is not put off by leaking carburetors.

Recently unwrapped & dusted off after 4 years in dry storage. after being purchased by myself a few months before as a fully completed. motd & taxed machine. I just fell in love with the bikes appearance. It really does look mean from every angle & is superbly set out & put together with an awful lot of care.

It was always a first time starter. the motor never missed a beat & pulled superbly from tickover right through the range. It was mechanically very quiet & burnt no oil.

Family circumstances forced the laying up of the bike 4 years ago. where it remained untouched until 4 weeks ago.

The battery was dead [no surprise] so a new one was fitted & the fuel tank flushed & new petrol added. Engine turned over freely but as soon as petrol tap is turned on. petrol gushes from the carbs. they are obviously in need of a thorough clean. As I said earlier it was running perfectly when ridden into the garage 4 years ago. It had  obviously been re-jetted & fine tuned to run with the stainless steel slash cut exhausts which do have removeable baffles. loud but legal!

All this said the Bobber is being sold as a non-runner. It really does represent an opportunity for someone who can clean the carbs. to own a very nice bike for very little money.

Brakes are all free.

Tyres have plenty of tread.

Forks are un-pitted.

Lights & Horn work.

Discs look good.

General cosmetic condition is what I can best describe as a used but loved look.

One for riding & enjoying. rather than polishing & posing!!!! However there is plenty of stainless & alloy for those with a polishing persuasion. The blemishes to the paintwork could probably be dusted over with a spray can if desired. I prefer the lived in look as do most riders of this type of machine.

Also I prefer a potential purchaser to be able to see exactly what they are buying. not just a shiny coat of paint quickly applied to assist a sale.

All this said the bike is in good condition & gets masses of attention whenever parked up.

Just to repeat the bike is being sold as a non-runner due to the carb problem.
