matchless g11 1956 600cc

I bought the bike a couple of years ago as it reminded me of my csr I had in the sixties. It had the sports mudguards and later Tank fitted along with the seat. I have used the bike on club runs etc. The engine and frame nos match the reg cert. ut the dating cert I have from the owners club confirms that it was dispatched in 1956 as a G9. nd a1956 ajs 600 engine fitted at some time later. Earlier this year the engine was overhauled because of a weak oil pump which was wet sumping badly. The bottom end was found to be good so was rebuilt with all new bearing shells etc. I fitted an improved high flow. igh capacity oil pump which works better and has cured the wet sumping. The bike runs well . o smoke or rattles. nd has done about 500 miles since rebuild. It is not showroom or restored but is a very tidy riders bike. The chrome is faily good and the silencers are new. ut it does Bark. I am selling due to the increased weight of the twin over my old single. hich keeps aggravating an old knee and back injury. (old age ). I have reciepts for the money spent. I will let the auction finish and I do not have a reserve. I would prefer cash on collection please.
