2007 KINROAD XT 125-18 (spares or repair)

 I bought this bike a year and a half ago as part of a 'lads weekend away' where we had to buy a cheap bike. fix it. then ride it to Devon and back (Top Gear style). In the end I decided to buy two bikes. and decided to fix up the other bike instead. I fixed most mechanical problems i. e. I bought a new gear lever/footbeg bracket. throttle/switch etc. It looks pretty sweet with the panels/seat/tank attached. If you want me to position the seat/tank and take a photo I will. It would be ideal for a 17 year old learner rider. This bike was in a light crash/dropped by the previous owner. so handle bars need to be rotated (forks don't appear to be damaged at all). and although the swing axle looks fine. I have another spare one in case you want to swap it over. It is patchy all over. bit of rust here and there. and the panels (although will all fit on the bike) need cosmetic attention. The kickstart lever was sheered off in the crash. so only starts by starter motor. although from memory I diagnosed that it needed a new starter motor relay switch as when I tried turning it over. it would only turnover occasionally. the rest of the time the relay would make that 'bad connection click' that prevents the relay from sending the right current to the starter motor. A new Relay switch 'should' fix this. Tyres will need pumping up. chain will need greasing. electrics double checking etc. etc. I basically bought this thinking I would have time to fix it into a road going bike. but decided to buy another bike (an old Jawa 1970' 2 stroke) which was a lot easier to work on. I ended up moving country for a year. so put both bikes in storage. but now I am getting rid of this bike as they are no longer in dry storage. You may find the bike is worth more to you as a source of spares. but a good mechanic could probably get this on the road with minimal parts needed. The bike is sold as is. as a non-runner. I've tried to be as honest as I can. Please come and look at the bike and all the bits that go with it before you buy. as you are bidding to buy. not to tyre kick!You will need a trailer or van to transport the bike. It comes with the V5 etc. P. S. I might also be selling my other bike too. but quite fancy keeping it for a bit of a project for when I am bored. Come and view both if you like. P. P.
