Suzuki DR800 Chop

Hi. ere for sale is my trusty DR800 chop. Originally built 22 years ago with a KLR600 engine in a Dave Batchelor frame. changed it to a low mileage ie 16000 miles DR800 engine in 2004. Doubt if she's done more than 3. 00 miles since. other bikes have got in the way. Many one off parts. hainguard is a ss milking parlour dipstick. ll wheel nuts. orwards and pillion rests have renault wheel nuts retapped to 5/8 unc. Fork brace is made out of an old ss lathe bed slider. Wheels and forks are KLR600. Headlight is a 1930's spotlight converted to halogen. Under the antislip floor paint the yokes are one off HE30 jobbies. She was 'shiny' once. Engine and rolling chassis are in fine if dirty fettle. ust rebuilt the forks. New battery. dvla in its wisdom some time ago decided she should have a Q plate. numbers are stamped on headstock. ow need mot and insurance certificate for number to be released. Nearly forgot. the tank has now finally rusted out. Only been started up occasionally over the last 5 years otherwise been stored in a warm dry shed watching me go out on my other bike.
