Description

Hello there this ad is for my British Built CCM  Retro Scrambler and austrian Rotax 640cc engine 1999 approx 60hp I think. perhaps not to everyones taste? it was a factory enduro bike. mileage and use has been very low for age. engine is in superb condition and starts and runs really well. it has had a new starter sprag clutch before I got it a few years ago. It was a standard CCM enduro with top spec running gear. beautiful Paoli Forks. white power rear shock. Talon Hubs and Excel rims. brembo brakes. all in fantastic condition.  I wanted to make the bike more retro 70's style scrambler/desert racer early CCM/Husquvarna style. it has fitted UFO vintage plastics. option of two home made seats design based upon ducati scrambler from the 70's. and a small ducati diana copy fibreglass tank or the ex yamaha XT500 desert racer aluminium tank which fits well. the bike has full MOT. new rear Mitas Enduro/Trail tyre and a new front is ready to be fitted. current enduro tyre is legal and fine its just a bit knobbly for road use. chain and sprockets in very good order. new rear wheel bearings fitted recently. all standard CCM plastics and bodywork. tank. seat. side panels. indicators. lights etc will come with the machine. the current clock console is fitted in a temporary location awaiting some thought and final effort to locate better or redesign with alternative speedo. The bike runs beautifully. it is remarkable fast and smooth for a single. it handles well on and off road. it really is a very competent machine and really is eye catching with folks scratching their heads as to what it is£?I am selling it because I don't get to use it enough. it is a lovely bike and I will really miss it. it was to be a modern replacement for my old 70's ducati scrambler. which it is in a way all be it a very good pukka enduro rather than trail bike. it would suit proper off road use or street/town use or a combination. I have recently built a BMW roadster scrambler style bike which is better for more gentle pottering.  Give me a call if interested. the price is perhaps high compared to basic or older CCM's but essentially to reflect alternative retro style and the hours of work in making parts fit. making fuel tank and seats. the bike itself is quite a rarity and is super condition with low miles. I hope you may be interested. Simon07798 914272
