2014 Brammo Empulse Press Bike with Full Factory Warranty

Let?ˆ™s get it out there. ?ˆ?Electric motorcycles are not real bikes?ˆ?. Everyone feel better? OK. a couple of days ago I would have been the last one arguing the point.

I got a call from Brammo that they had 3 Press bikes they wanted to sell and would I take it on? My first answer was yes. but I was headed to Laguna Seca for a CLASS Motorcycle School and could I take them along. maybe even ride them? Yes was the answer. OK. so the gauntlet was down. Nothing was being hidden. I would know the truth about the bikes and hopefully find new homes for them. The bikes all had less then 2000 miles on them. all were Press bikes. all had full factory 2 year Warranty on the bikes. 4 years on the Batteries and sold on an MSO. Simple deal?ˆ¦at half of retail.

Monday went as planned and I rode the 2 R?ˆ™s most of the morning. What was it like? A blast. just like ridding a 300 Honda or Kawasaki. Heavy standing still. normal while rolling. Good brakes. not too much engine braking. weird having a clutch and 6 Speeds when 1 would have done with no clutch. It makes the same Horsepower at 0rpm as at 5000rpm. The tranny was a little noisy. the rear spring too big. but the bike handled great. was a kick to ride and when it needed to be charged after 50 miles of aggressive riding. I plugged it in to the box near the classrooms at Laguna and 5 hours later it was ready to go again. Thanks for the fill up!!!

Would I pay $19. 00 for a new one? Hmmm. Would I pay $9600 for one? YES!!!! We have three bikes. all of them are getting the same description. all of them are for sale till they are gone. Only the VIN #?ˆ™s are different. the colors and this one is not an R.
