I grew up on bikes. ive never been great but have always had a keen interest. The development in electric transport in general has moved on massively and it want until I actually owned an electric bike did I realise the full benefit. I own a 2015 Kuberg Trial E and am waiting for my Kuberg Free Rider. I was so impressed with Kuberg and their bikes that I am registered as a Jr. Dealer (no premises. just an enthusiast). I can say that if you have a child who is a little worried about the noise of a petrol bike this is great. Equally it opens up the riding possibilities massively. We ride the bike locally and everyone we meet is not offended by the bike and many stop to ask more information about it. Ive no doubt the story would be different if he was riding a KTM SX 50 round! As the bike has nothing to leak fluids from I can put the bike in the boot of the car flat and no need to trailer it.

 

TRIAL E is the perfect machine for riders from 5 to 10 years old but will easily carry rider up to 220lbs! Amazing extra powerful motor delivers serious riding experience. This bike will easily climb steep hills and leap up large rock steps. The motor delivers smooth linear power and has lots of instant torque for incredible acceleration. Speed dial control and other safety features allow setting the bike top speed responsibly to match the actual skills of the young rider.

 

The bike itself is cheaper than the market leader Oset and the specs are fairly similar. The bike comes in trials style but you can buy a tail piece that includes the seat pad. The 2015 bikes come standard with hydraulic disc brakes. double spoked wheels and a new controller. Unlike the oset these bikes are rated to carry 220lbs! I cannot resist a blast on it. I was blown away with how it pulled away as if I was like 5 stone and it was bloody fast (good thing I can turn it down for the boy).

The new 2015 controllers have 3 modes Novice. Sport and Race. The modes determine the power delivery but each of them can then be turned down to run as slow as you like.
