BRITAX KARI-BIKE DI BLASI MONKEY BIKE BARN FIND RARE ORIGNAL BIRMINGAM NO RESERV

Hi welcome to my auction of my monkey bike collection I am moving house in the new year and will no longer have room for these three bikes so reluctantly they have got to be sold. a real shame as I am sure they are appreciating more than the money will in the bank at the moment. This auction is for the Britax Kari-bike ? first registered here new in 1981. These are still made today by De Blasi all the parts are available from concept bikes in london this one is unusual because it was sold by Britax and badged as Britax the english company that made seat belts and child car seats they only sold these for a couple of years. I never did get it to run nicely it would not tick over properly but I put it into storage the same time as the other monkey bikes in the picture I drained the petrol and put it into storage in 2010. I have now got it out but do not have the time to get it started but it kicks over fine with good compression and should be Ok with a bit of TLC. There are a couple of parts missing IE the magnito plastic cover and the air cleaner I took them off when I was trying to fix the miss fire and I cannot find them now if I do find them before the auction ends I will include these of course but it would run without them and they are available from concept. Condition. Both tyres are good. brakes work well. the seat is original with no rips. all in all it is a very original and complete bike that not perfect with a little surface rust here and there as can be seen in the pictures but neither has it ever been restored so is all the original paint work. I do not have the log book but do have the receipt from the person I bought it off please allow that it will cost you ??25 for a replacement from DVLA.
