This auction is for a AJS STORMER. I don't know the year. I believe these were 370cc but this may be larger. This was Dr. Robin Tuluie's bike. He is an astrophysicist that worked for Polaris and was the head of Research and Development at Renault F1 Team. He believed in high powered two strokes in light weight frames. His main concern was traction. traction. nd traction. He built bikes that you could change the degrees of the steering rake and the height of the rear swing arm. Here are some links to more information about the good doctor.

There are a lot of extra parts that comes with this. I don't no the racing history of this bike but do your research because I read some things about his AJS racer. The piston is currently stuck from sitting for so long. The cylinder is not bolted down. I can see it move when the crank is rotated back and forth so the lower end is NOT stuck. There are two sizes of extra cylinders and several pistons that come with this package. The expansion chamber will have to be rebuilt or patched up on the underside due to a mouse nest rotting it out. The forks look Italian and the front brake is a Brembo. It has a steering damper and dry clutch. There also some close up photos of a notebook that came with this bike. It shows the Taladaga race course and other pages of calculations.
This is old and has sat for a while so you are buying this as is with no warranty. Before riding I would check all standard maintenance issues such as. nbsp; brake adjustments. carb adjustments. change oil. etc.
Shipping can be expensive. It is the buyer's responsibility to arrange and pay for shipping. I will help load if needed. It is probably best if you pick this up in person. thanks Jim
