Description

Extremely rare Italian Sports/privateer Road Racer - built in Pesaro/Italy - by the two Benelli Brothers - producing motorcycles from 1949 until 1958

The famous streamlined "egg shaped motor" was invented by those Brothers. and inside this egg form was contained "everything" except the carburetors.

Sales was comparatively low. because of high costs. caused by the almost handcrafted production methods. nbsp;in creating these very high quality motorcycles!

Lots of long distance racing successes expanded sales - but the "Spring Lasting" model was always a very exclusive motorcycle. for the few.

Motor: 200cc - 4 gears - topspeed. close to 130 Kmph - expansions system exhausts - "Amadori" oversize ventilated aluminium brakes - Marzocchi front teles - "half circle" front fender (for grave roadsl racing) - twin seat. + low. narrow sports handlebars. together with "long range" petrol tank - matching numbers - bike eligible for the Italian 1000 Km.  long distance race "Moto Giro dItalia" - and the vintage race "Milano - Taranto".

Bike is insured. and approved by the Danish Road Authorities for driving on public roads - an easy starter. with excellent brakes. and ability to hold its own. even in modern traffic!

Bike has history. and every old original papers & invoices - from the very beginning of sales - I am just the 4th owner (the third owner. a Gentleman from Brescia. nbsp;used the motorcycle for no less than 40 years. and had it 100% professionally restored in Italy in 2001 - for just to drive a couple of times. before sadly passing away. )

Price: 9000 US Dollar - bike situated in Copenhagen Denmark. -  a secure Investments potential. together with the opportunity to drive the thing. make this motorcycle a tempting position for the person in the know.

Why selling it? - Because I am 74 years old - already having a "stable" of 5 veteran/vintage motorcycles - and minimizing my Collection - before its too late!
