1983 Maico 490

This auction is for 1983 MAICO 490.

I bought this bike about 10 years ago and restored it 6 years ago.

Frame was powder coated.

Ultra rare polished aluminum Profab swing arm.

The Olins shock was rebuilt by Maico Only with a spring which was made for my weight (200 pounds).

All suspension bushings were replaced by Maico Only.

New EBC Brakes.

Powder coated hubs.

New Excel Takasago rims with stainless steel spoke and nipples new Dunlop tires.

A polished front brake stay arm.

The plastic was replaced at that time. the tank and side panel graphics were applied.

The forks were powder coated with new seals and oil.

Case saver from Rage Racing.  

New large foot pegs and springs.

Maico Only rear brake lever.

Very rare rear brake cable.

New seat cover. new seat foam and new seat pan.

New Terry cables.

Aluminum bars with Magura throttle and new grips.   

PFR pipe and PFR silencer.

New 38mm Flat Slide Mikuni Carburetor.

Bike starts and runs through the gears as it should.

The decals on the gas tank have lost there adhesion. I have included a new set MXM gas Tank decals.
