Moto 'B' or Motobi Catria 175

Here is a good project. matching numbers Motobi 'Egg' Catria 175. There is no paperwork. bought it a few years ago - stripped it and got the engine casings vapour blasted. usual story - too many projects and never got round to looking at this one. In a rare attack of common sense I am having a clear out. The tin ware is in good condition. tool boxes. mudguards. chain guard. tank and rear no plate pretty much rust free. Seat frame is good. original seat cover is there and will be useful for the re-cover. Headlamp in good condition. tail light broken but it is there. Bakelite damper knob  present. original switchgear. alloy brake levers. handle bars. There is no speedo in the headlamp. just a black bakelite (?) cap. Forks. shocks. centre stand. look to be in good shape. Wheel hubs are ok. rims will need to be replaced. Exhaust is needing replaced. but it is there so you will know which one to get. Engine - looks OK. two fins damaged on rocker cover but otherwise looks good. It has the original dellorto carb which would be hard to find. The outer casings are OK. one has quite deep scuff marks. Engine no 415515 - tried to get dates for this but not able to find the info. You will have to get gaskets and a few bits & bobs but easy restoration - assembly. paint & chrome. The bike is in Scotland - near Brechin - you are welcome to come along and rake through the boxes. I am going down to Stafford Bike show in a couple of weeks. happy to put it on the pick up & deliver off  M74 or M6 en route - but no major detours!Any questions - call me on 01356 650321.
