Guiller Fr??res* (*Brothers) produced motorcycles from the year 1929. They manufactured high quality machines with a sporty image in fairly small numbers. using power-units from established French engine suppliers like AMC. Aubier et Dunne and others.

In 1954. the make is divided in two. One of the two brothers who founded the factory. Ren?© Guiller. stays in business under his own name. and his brother Pierre?ˆ™s two sons launch their own make. Guiller SA.

The two makes went on to produce roughly the same kind of bikes until they both had to close down business around 1958. Like the pictures are showing this 1950 bike has many nice and original details which makes it a real pleasure to look at.   The paint is old. clearly showing age and traces of use (patina) and the bike is showing light surface rust on all the steel parts. The inside of the gas tank is very clean/not corroded and also all the panel work like fenders and gastank etc. are rock-solid. Also the original frame-id. plate is still on (see picture) and the frame- and engine numbers like showing on this are matching with the actual numbers of the machine. Another rare feature of this bike is the for those days very advanced 'Featherbed' frame. which construction was also used on the very successful Norton Manx racing bikes of that era. The original 'Aubier et Dunne' made engine turns smoothly. the gearbox is shifting fine and the missing chain will be replaced by a new one (which will come separate with the bike). I did not make any attempts to get it running for reason that it has been unused for MANY decades. but think it won?ˆ™t take very much to get it going again. as the engine has great compression and everything is in place.

Personally I regard the condition where this bike is in not as something really disturbing. machines from this era and in this condition are getting much harder to find and now command prices higher than nicely restored equivalents. but then of course there?ˆ™s always the choice of giving this machine a second life by restoring it.

I have been searching the net for many hours to find another Guiller for sale. but wasn't able to source one. where also I am pretty sure that this will be the first (and maybe also the last) Guiller motorcycle that is on offer on ebay. com.

 This machine has never been road-registered and comes with an official European certificate of origin which states the make. model. year. displacement. weight etc. and an official bill of sale from my company here in Belgium. Furthermore I?ˆ™ll make sure that all the correct export-paperwork will be in place before the bike leaves from here. which documents will make the process of importing it into the US an easy ride.   -On this listing I?ˆ™m offering a special (fully sealed) m'cycle crate. careful packing and physical shipping from here in Belgium to a US Cfs as close as possible to you at my expense.  Please note; In case the bike needs to be shipped to another destination than the US. please ask whether I can offer you such a deal as well before placing a bid (mostly this is not a problem. but then it?ˆ™s always better to make sure).  Furthermore. when you want to receive some better photo's of the bike/shipping. or want to recieve more information about this item. just let me know.   -Additional information to this listing;The bike has after almost 65 years traces of use and age (patina).   I only offer shipping by sea. where of course we can advise you on forehand about the process of importing the machine into your country.   Like can be read in the link. nbsp;this antique bike is because of its age and displacement exempt from US import-duty and EPA regulations; https://help. cbp. gov/app/answers/detail/a_id/278/~/importing-classic-or-antique-vehicles-%2F-cars-for-personal-use

The crate will safely sail in a sealed container and the shipment is fully insured for eventual damage/loss.

I accept payments through PayPal.

In previous listings I've received many times the same question; "how are you able to offer a motorcycle without any reserve and free shipping??" Where also a few times has been suggested; ?ˆ?Is this a scam??"

It is always a kind of sad experience whenever hearing that my best intentions are reason for any negative opinions or thoughts.

 Thus about how this is possible. . basically very simple;

I am a classic motorcycle dealer since the year 1979 and over the last three decades my main business has become making nice and rare motorcycles available to customers all over the world. for which activity I have over the years only used one single shipping-company* (*that now has more than 80 years of experience).

 For reason that I'm having shipments on a constant/weekly base. I buy at the beginning of each year a big amount of shipping-volume against a huge discount (which enables me to ship at Very low cost but on the same go have high quality shipments).

When counting to this that by experience I?ˆ™ve learned that a serious bike will always attract a serious customer. which person is also willing to pay a fairly correct price. then this is how I?ˆ™m able to make such offers. make money for a living and have a satisfied customer.

Before listing a bike with no-reserve and free shipping. I of course always keep in mind that on a (for me) unfortunate day I can loose a little money on it. but then of course that?ˆ™s just life (and on the other hand the advantage for the buyer!)

I always pack the bikes myself. only use certified crates plus new packing-materials and deliver the crated machines in person at the Antwerp warehouse of the shipping-company (see images).
