This Zundapp K 800 belonged to Doc Patt late president of the Antique Motorcycle club of America for many years. Part of his personal collection. As the pics show the the machine had most likely been used as a 60's Chopper complete with bright metalflake blue in the spirit of the era. It certainly has the profile with the low slung architecture that would allow "the look". Last titled in Virginia in 1991 (Title document included) I have been informed by AMCA members that Doc Patt had it running and operable for exhibition rides around the fairgrounds while in his care. The sidevalve 4 cylinder motor turn freely and has good compression. From the look of it a restoration was started . Sheet metal is sound and rust is not an issue with this machine . This suggests dry storage. There are no additional parts. Pictures show the current condition and state of the machine. The the stick shift 4 speed 800cc double boxer motor due to its engine design is exceptionally smooth. The motor was Rated at 20 HP with shaft drive and a rigid rear wheel providing outstanding suitability for sidecar use . Before and during WW 2 the Wehrmacht ordered large numbers of these for military duty. Will ship worldwide. $1000 deposit via paypal within 24 hours of auction. Balance due by wire transfer bank to bank or certified check or cash on pickup within 30 days. Vehicle sold with Virginia title and a notarized bill of sale from current owner. Will discuss machine via ph at 802-722-3229.
