RARE ! - NO RESERVE - 1999 EXCELSIOR HENDERSON MOTORCYCLE #73 IN FACTORY CRATE - RAREUp for auction is Excelsior Henderson Motorcycle Initial Dealer Issued Production Bike #73.  New in original shipping harness and crate. Sealed start-up kit bolted in crate and factory sealed owners manual included. There were less than 2000 of these bikes produced to be released to the public over 13 years ago by the Hanlon's in Minnesota. Many of those have been altered (some successfully & some not so successfully) . salvaged. crashed. burned. or disassembled leaving a very limited number of virgin metal in existence.  If you are not familiar with these bikes please do your research on these beautiful machines prior to bidding as they have a very colorful history which only adds to the mystique and cult like following behind them. As with any new production bike they had a few challenges to overcome but fortunately 99% of these have successfully been solved and engineered out over the years by the many dedicated E. H. owners and mechanics out there and there are several reliable. honest and qualified mechanic groups to help work thru these who also offer full package "tweaking" options if you are so inclined to alter this bike into an extremely reliable everyday rider. H. support group still in existence in the States along with many enthusiastic owner / riders who are a very reliable sources of information. parts. mechanical needs and advise. Number 73 has been stored indoors in a climate controlled ARIZONA environment since I purchased her from Woods Fun Center in Austin Texas on Feb. 2. 2002.  No pitting. rusting or peeling chrome on this bike.  No scratches. dings. dents or blemishes have been observed as she has never been removed from her crate harness. Crate does have a non-original replacement plywood shipping crate end panel.
