Off road buggy, go kart, quad like project, similar to Blitz, ideal bike engine?

 This auction is for an off road buggy as pictured.

 It is sold as a project and what you see is what you get. There is no running gear to go with it.

 It is based on a Fiat 126. The steering rack axels. suspension. wheels etc. are all Fiat.

 The buggy is not currently fitted with shock absorbers on the front. just a standard leaf spring. A brand new pair of shocks can be bought for ?30 a pair if you wanted to go down that route.

 It looks like the frame was professionally built as it`s very sturdy and well made.

 The tyres on the back are Pirelli 2000s and in good condition. The front one are not great. but I`m happy to include two usable 13 radial tyres.

 The buggy also comes with a seat and fuel tank it was fitted with(shown in the last picture). The fuel tank has an electric pump fitted.

 It has standard Fiat 126 brakes. so drums on all four wheels. The handbrake is not connected. There are cheap disc brakes conversions available for these little Fiats if you wanted more stopping power. I suppose it depends on the engine the new owner wants to fit in it.

 The buggy was fitted with a standard air cooled engine and gearbox from a 126. I have no longer have these.

 Could be easily fitted with a Honda GX engine. mini engine. bike engine. or what ever you like.

 The approx. measurements of the buggy are: L-230cm. W-140cm. H-150cm. The distance from wheel to wheel: front-125cm. rear-135cm.

 It will fit in a small van. so it`s very easy to transport. We had it in the back of our swb Sprinter.

 This is much safer than a quad bike and would make a great toy for someone. A nice little project for winter.
