Fully Restored 1962 Vespa VBB with sidecar *NO RESERVE*

Fully restored Vespa VBB in matte black with sidecar. Includes the following extras:- Electric start- Turn Signals- Side mirrors- Windshield (both vespa and sidecar)- Custom matte black paint job. with gloss stripe on Sidecar- White wall tires- Red seat upholstery- Black rain cover for sidecar opening- Red rain cover for sidecar opening- Spare wheel- Spare spark plug. brake cables and brake pads. On a recent trip to Vietnam. I visited family run business who restore classic Vespa's with sidecars. They had one on display when I was there. but it was sold before I could commit to buying it. so I commissioned them to custom build this one and send it to my home in the Caribbean. They have made a number of these Vespa sidecars and sell them around the world as quick as they can restore them. as they are so popular. Restoration includes stripping frame down to bare metal and repainting. engine restoration includes new pistons. cylinder and carburetor. new wiring etc and electrical system upgraded to 12v. The Vespa and Sidecar are currently in transit to me. however on researching how to license and register it here. I found obscure wording in the law that makes it illegal to import or use a sidecar. despite various references to importing and licensing of vehicles with sidecars in other sections of the law as I had previously researched. As such. to avoid falling foul of the law (and paying import duties and perhaps penalties). I am looking to sell it and send it on. so it remains "in transit" in my country. A very unfortunate and disappointing circumstance for me. as I was very excited to take ownership of this toy. This setup is worth over $6. 00. but I'm auctioning off to the highest bidder. as I need to sell it before it arrives. My pain is your gain.  The shipment is due to arrive in Miami on January 5. 2015. before making its way to me in the Caribbean. Unfortunately. due to U. S. customs regulations. the shipment cannot be stopped in Miami. as paperwork for import needs to be submitted to customs prior to the ship sailing. which was a few weeks back. Failure to do so could result in penalties or forfeiture. which I obviously want to avoid. Once it arrives here. I will have it sent back to Miami at my own cost (or to your location. the incremental costs being for your account). along with the required paperwork. The shipment is coming in 2 separate boxes. 1 with the Vespa and 1 with the sidecar. but should arrive together. Total weight is 300kg and volume is 3. 2 cubic meters.  I have all the required paperwork including proof of de-registration and package fumigation. I also have a collection of videos showing how to attach the sidecar. Payment via wire transfer or similar is preferred. but willing to split the cost of Paypal if required for piece of mind.  This is a legitimate fire sale.  Happy bidding.
