Triumph Speedtwin 5TA 1963 500cc Matching Numbers Classic Collector All Steel

1963 Triumph Speedtwin. Frame number and engine number are the same. the registration number is original and transferable. It was despatched to Wyvern's of Weston Ltd in June '63. rear bathtub and front mudguard also nacelle are steel. nbsp; The bike was restored some years ago and still looks quite respectable. nbsp; it had wheels rebuilt new exhausts. and these still look nice. nbsp; however after restoration I believe it has been standing for years. nbsp; then it was bought by the chap I bought it off. who used it for a short while. then stripped out the headlamp and nacelle to fit a new speedo cable. he was taken ill and never completed the job. the bike has been stood for a long time. but. I have had it running and it sounds nice. however it doesn't like to rev up. it just ticks over. carb problems I expect. so it is being sold as a project. nbsp; I have the modern V5c in my name. and also the old brown cardboard logbook. nbsp; proving original registration number (transferable)  the engine and frame numbers are matched. the books shown in the photos are of course included in the sale. nbsp; that's about all I can say. but please ask any questions or better still why not come to view. nbsp; delivery possible. thanks for reading this and good luck should you decide to bid.
