Description

For sale by auction is my Peugeot Elyseo. 100cc Automatic Scooter. Riding it is simplicity itself. Simply twist the throttle to go and pull the brakes to stop. No need to worry about changing gears or using your feet to apply the brakes - it's easier than riding a pushbike except that you don't have to pedal and can easily keep up with traffic. I purchased the bike as a project because it was very clean and tidy. My plan was to spend some time working on it and in doing so learning about motorcycles however after purchasing a new battery and installing it. it started up beautifully first time. I subsequently booked it in for an MOT and it passed straight away so there is no work for me to do (therefore no project) so I have decided to sell it. In the short time that I have owned it I have ridden it only briefly however I can say that it easily keeps up with traffic on roads with a 40mph limit and feels as if it could go quite a lot faster. Everything works as it should as is borne out by the fact that it has just passed it's MOT and it is very clean and tidy so it wouldn't look out of place in an office car park. Overall. I feel that it would be a great option for someone wanting to avoid traffic jams during their rush hour commute. Being a larger scooter means that it is also fine for taller riders such as myself. I have some old documents and MOT's which will also be given to the winning bidder. Due to the size of the scooter. I can only offer it on a collection only basis. I'd be happy to pick the winning bidder up from a local train station if this helps - that way you could just bring a helmet and ride it home. Viewing before the end of the auction is also welcomed - that way you can see just how good it looks in real life. Please feel free to ask any questions or to view my 100% positive feedback so that you can bid with confidence. My terms are that I require a £100 deposit to be paid by paypal within one hour of the auction close. The rest is to be paid on collection (within 3 days unless by prior arrangement). This isn't to deter people from bidding but is instead an attempt to deter people who may choose to bid. not proceed with the purchase and in doing so to waste the time of genuine bidders. The scooter is being listed with no reserve and a 99p start price. It is due to end on Thursday evening. Someone will get a bargain! Thank you for looking and good luck if you decide to bid.
