I am a mature rider. I have owned this scooter for nearly three years.
I had knee operation a couple of years ago and couldn?ˆ™t ride a motorbike so I decided to ride a scooter till my knee recovered. I only ride in the warmer months. I have now almost recovered and have purchased a motorbike again. therefore my scooter is for sale. That?ˆ™s the only reason it?ˆ™s for sale.
This scooter is in exceptional condition and should not be confused with many I have seen for sale on eBay.
I only really rode the scooter around town and last year I had it serviced. I also thought it needed the engine to be set up so it could keep up with the flow of traffic. I had a exhaust fitted to increase power output. This was done properly and the carb has been re-jetted. I was also advised that to increase acceleration I needed to swop the clutch springs. This was done and now the scooter picks up fast and smooth to stay with the flow of traffic. The scooter has not been thrashed around but it does have a reasonable turn of speed and is cheap to tax and insure.
Scooter has had new front disc pads.
New air filter and plug.
Both tyres are very good condition with lots of tread.
Top box with original bracket.
Bag clip.
Fuel gauge.
Storage under seat. takes a full helmet. Lockable.
Digital speedo.
Rev counter.
Electric and kick start.
The only issue I think that will need considering at some time in the future is maybe a battery. it seems to run down if the scooter is stood for a while and then has to be kicked off rather than the electric start.
