Piaggio zip 100 1 mature owner spares or repairs project learner legal scooter

Hi and welcome to my auction for my Piaggio zip 100 2007 with 1 mature owner from new. This bike has good points and bad points. The story of how I came to own this was I sold my Piaggio nrg50 about 4 months ago to a young man in Mansfield. He came down with he's lorry driver father to collect. he was over the money with the bike and said about him having a Piaggio zip 100 2007 which was unused for years now. He told me he fitted a new battery. rear tyre and an exhaust for it's last mot but just never used it after that. He was telling me how it had always done the job and never failed him. He told me if I let he's son off some money for my nrg so he can get himself a helmet. jacket and gloves. They seemed like a nice pair so I agreed. sure enough he brought the zip down 2 days later and pushed it 1/2 mile due to not being able to get he's lorry down my road. He stuck to he's word so I have never doubted this bike. I put some fresh fuel in it and charged the battery. It started but then cut out after about a minute of running. Since then it has never been started and has been sat in the garage ever since. That's the reason it is for spares or repairs project for someone to give it a nice new home. Mileage is 15. 57 miles on the clock. Come get yourself a good little doer upper.
