2000 PIAGGIO Hexagon LXT 2 Stroke.

2000 Piaggio Hexagon 180lxt 2 stroke. MOT till 30th March 2015. i bought this scoot to do up its had running trouble ive disconnected the 2 stroke oil pump due to it leaking by and filling the air filter with oil. so running on pre mix at the moment. i replaced the air filter with new. it really needs a new oil pump and cable ive capped the oil pipe off easy to reconnect. I changed the carb for a good second hand one starts ok and ticks over but ride it for a mile or so and it cuts out as if its running out of fuel???? I went on the forums and was advised to change the cdi unit which i have and it starts even better now but cant take it for a run due to no longer having insurance (ive bought another bike)  The gentleman i bought it off had a top end rebuild at 8000kms now has 13126kms or 8304 miles on it. he did this because he snapped an exhaust stud in the head changing the rotted front pipe for a stainless one. The rear tyre seems to deflate over a couple of days corrosion on wheel rim but tyres are in great condition as pics show. She is really nice to ride and is very quick great fun and everything works. so a bit of fettling by someone who knows what they are doing and it will be a great scoot again. I have v5 in my name aswell as a stack of paper work with mots and receipts for past work.
