2012 PIAGGIO MP3 SPORT TOURING LT 500. MATT BLACK. RIDE THIS ON A CAR LICENCE

For sale is my beloved Matte Black MP3 LT 500 Sport. I doubt you will finder a nicer example for sale anywhere. This is probably the cheapest one in the country too!The bike was first registered on 19th June 2012. I purchased it a few weeks later after the bike had covered a few hundred miles; this is virtually a one owner machine. The bike has been lovingly maintained. It has a full service history from the supplying main dealer. The stamped service book shows that the scooter was serviced at 1057 miles. 4858 miles. 9048 miles and 13015 miles. The current mileage is 14250 miles. The bike has just has new Michelin City Grip tyres fitted to the front and Michelin City Grip Winter to the rear. As you can see from the photos. this bike has some nice extras added. These will be included ONLY if the full BUY IT NOW price is achieved:A Piaggio colour coded top box (the original backrest - shown fitted in one of the photos - is also included). Acerbis hand guards (with LED lights - these are great for night riding and make you more visible whilst filtering). A RAM mount for TomTom Rider or iPhone (alternately shown fitted). Once again. these very desirable extras will only be included if the full BUY IT NOW price is offered; otherwise I shall be selling them in separate auctions. I have also had a set of Dr Pulley 18g Sliders fitted for faster and smoother acceleration. An Akrapovi? exhaust. which gives a pleasing deep throbbing exhaust note which is not too noisy (unless the DB killers are removed). The nose has been debadged. There is a large file full of paperwork including receipts for every service and other extra work done (even the original sales receipt is there).  The bike comes with two complete sets of keys (including the very important Red masterKey)The bike is cheap to run. I average about 60MPG in cross-London commuting. Insurance is also cheap (Lexham offer good quotes in my experience). It has been supremely reliable. The first MOT is not due until June. This scooter is an absolute hoot to ride. Nice linear power delivery (so not to intimidate the new rider). but plenty of oomph to see off the other traffic from the lights. The handling is great - this is the ultimate bad weather machine. as it’s very reassuring in the rain. on slippery roundabouts and on petrol station forecourts (often slippery from diesel around the pumps). I have to sell the dear friend as I’ve now passed my bike test and have bought a regular two-wheeled bike. My wife won’t let me keep both (although she’d rather I kept the MP3 than the new ride!). The next owner will not be disappointed. You can’t get a faster or more enjoyable bike without a full motorcycle licence!(My wife just pointed out that there are small drops of water on the ground in some of the images. Please be assured that these are not leaks - I had just washed the bike before taking the pictures)Viewings are welcomed by appointment but no test rides without: (a) proof of insurance.
