Piaggio X9 250cc Maxi Scooter, 14K miles, Long MOT, Grips, Excellent Cond

This brilliant economical scooter has propelled me to work and back faultlessly since May last year for about ?15 a week! (25 miles each way). Unfortunately. my temporary contract in London has now been cancelled. so I’m selling it.   Otherwise I would be keeping her.

When I was looking around for a commuter last May. I was shocked at the rubbish for sale out there.   This really is a little cracker and won’t disappoint.

It is in very good condition. has a Piaggio 40L top box and cavernous lockable under seat storage.   Also has ‘smart’ heated grips and new tyres fitted last month.   Even though I’ve been using her all through the winter. there’s no corrosion as I’ve bathed her in ACF50!

She doesn’t have stamps in the book past 7. 00 miles. but does have all the bills and invoices to prove the work has been done.

She’s nippy away from the lights and holds her own in traffic without thrashing it. right up to about 65mph.   It can go faster. but that’s pushing the Honda single cylinder engine a bit hard in my book and of course. because it’s a Honda. her reliability is well proven.

It purrs along smooth and quiet at around 60mph. The engine is sweet and the drive uptake is smooth.
