Piaggio Ape TM

Owned by female as second owner who has had this since 2012 and is selling reluctantly. This delightful and fun Piaggio Ape TM Pickup has a really excellent condition mechanically and bodywork-wise.   Larger than the smaller 50cc version. this rarer 218cc engine vehicle can fit two adults in the front. with its own speakers. stereo. heating and cooling fan (all working).  

It has no collision or bodywork damage in the past and genuine low mileage. This vehicle has has new oil this summer and has been very well looked after!  Its MOT passed first try and with nothing needed to be done last year and also with no advisories.  The current MOT is due to run out at the end of Oct and is sold with existing current MOT as. if the reserve is not met it will be stored off road and so a new MOT is not needed.  (When any viewer sees or hears it. they will not be worried about it passing easily as it naturally starts first time/and done less than 100m since last MOT).

Petrol is cheap with a full tank costing about £10.    This vehicle has been fully registered with DVLA. (unlike some foreign made similar vehicles which can be complicated and or costly to register).  All original and early registration docs are all available with the vehicle and its V5. The DVLA as a 'motorcycle derived vehicle'. A full license is needed.

It has a specially added. newly repainted. rear boot thats huge and lockable (with an extra key). so its ready to go to work for you.

Tyres are in very good condition.   It is capable of being driven up to nearly 37mph and parks for free in many London boroughs.   It has been built with Italian craftsmanship (unlike the Indian made models/tuk tuks) and there is talk that the new TM models will be made in India.  

The engine is easy to maintain being a reliable 2 stroke engine.   Replacement parts are very cheap and easily available off Ebay.   (Road Tax is under £50)

Ideal for a tradesmen. mobile coffee business. new or nervous drivers or someone wanting an economical run around or storage vehicle - among many other usages.   Thus it is far more practical and speedier than its smaller counterpart the 50cc version. (which only one person can fit in and it takes forever to get anywhere in)!  When new. these or the similar calasino model are about £7000+. so save yourself the depreciation and gain yourself a bargain with this well maintained Piaggio. You will have lots of affordable and fun motoring with this and by comparision to other vans. it will keep your costs down if you are in business also.
