Piaggio Zip 50Piaggio's Zip 50 has been around for years. a well established model with proven reliability. The air cooled. 2 stroke motor has been used in a load of other bikes (NRG. Typhoon. many Gileras etc. ) unlike the new 4 stroke models. these pull very well from standstill and there is plenty of history/spares and advice too. A simple bike that's small and light enough to strap to a camper van and designed to be rugged and low maintainence. all of which makes them a perfect first/novice bike. Still a funky looking bike with indicators sculptured in the curved bodywork and clocks/headlight enclosed in a 'glass bowl' which also makes them very hard to damage :) Under the comfy dual seat is a large storage/helmet bay and fillers for petrol and oil. there is also a bag hook and large glove box too (see last pic).                                                            This bike is low mileage (the speedo shows 5766 Kilometers which equals 3582 Miles) and is in good condition. it starts and runs very well. riding and stopping well too. It has a year's MOT as all the lights. hooter etc all work and it has good tyres and brakes. The bike is nice but has gained a couple of light scratches which hardly show but prevent it being 'pristine' condition. it's still very good though. The bike is how it left the showroom and hasn't been 'tuned' or messed about with and still restricted as they should be (30mph. or 40 down a steep hill. ). this also means the engine has had an easy life. apparently they are cheap and easy to de-restrict if needed.                   A very nice learner legal. 2 stroke moped for a rider aged 16+. it's still in a good. original condition with good consumables and a year's MOT. it comes with the owner's book. service book. the V5 logbook and the key.
