Here I have for sale

My piaggio zip 125. nbsp; iv had this little scooter for around a year now and its never let me down. nbsp;have recently moved onto a geared bike and have no time for this one hence its up for sale. when I brought her she had sat in a damp garden shed for years and looked really sorry for herself. nbsp;as you can see since then I have done allot to her to get her back up and running again. /p>

Things I did. /p>

Re-sprayed fairings same as originals. wile I was at it. sprayed engine side case using tough paint. around £40. 00

Upgraded the headlight to halogen and sidelights to bright blue led. this makes her look real smart. £30. 00

Fitted a smart 24l silver back box onto the original pannier. this makes life sooo much easier. cost 50. 00

Fitted a new mallossi Kevlar drive belt. and all new variator and rollers + spring . cost around £200

Replace the rotten exhaust with a new one. cost £90. 00

Carbon moto gp tax disc holder and bar ends. £20. 00

Installed a 12v socket in the glove box. ideal for satnavs and charging your phone on the way to work

Removed the kick-start lever as i never used it though this will be included in the sale

Cleaned and reset the carburettor

As with all bikes there are some bad point. Bearing in mind bike is 13 years old

Sadly she fell of her stand this scratched one side and broke her right indicator lens . this is only cosmetic damage iv already filled. just needs sanding and spraying i have a new can of silver spray i will include in the sale. i have took pictures of the damage

Did fit heated grips though the ones i brought broke after 2 months. that's cheap stuff from china for you

Had also wired some led strip lights to a switch under the seat. one of the wired snapped and blew the inline fuse to the lights. this is easily fixed just need to remove the side panel and rewire replace fuse. once fixed makes it so much easier to find things under the seat in the dark

Overall she's a very smart little scooter. nbsp;clean and tidy ideal for commuting to work or college. will keep up with traffic with ease and will surprisingly reach speeds of up to 70mph. runs sweet . ice and smooth. very quite engine that pulls well.   You wont see many of these 125 zips around as they are sadly becoming a rarity
