RETROSPECTIVE SCOOTERSSPECIFICATION
The Vespa GL was the first standard Vespa with 10" wheels brought out in 1962 . By standard we mean "not a GS" it was also the first with the new style trapezoidal headset still retaining those beautiful curves on the panels and mudguard. All GLs were only ever in this Ivory paint finish similar to our own "Old English White " This GL has been sandblasted back to bare metal and restored to this original paint scheme. We only use quality hand picked and inspected parts and where possible all original parts have been restored and reused. The engine can either be the original or for an additional £500 a more modern and reliable PX engine can be fitted. This is also a service we can offer to all customers should they want to upgrade their engine.
