The iconic "faro basso" ( meaning low-light) early 1950's vespa model that buzzed all over Italy and got everyone moving again just after the war .
This 1953 version was made world famous in the same year staring in the Holywood movie "Roman Holiday" staring Gregory Peck and Audery Hepburn . Mr Peck swoons the pretty young Hepburn while riding around Rome on his Vespa scooter and showing her all the sites as a passenger and even teaches her to ride it.
This scooter was fully restored in Italy by a renouned classic scooter restorer from Ferrara. only the finest Italian parts where used in the restoration which included a bare metal respray .
The scooter is yet unregisterd in the UK but can be done so for an added fee of ?150 .
All is in perfect working order and it will come with a British MOT certificate.
