Puch Maxi S - vintage barn find moped winter project NO RESERVE

Puch Maxi S This is a barn find I have picked up. All I have done is changed the plug . cleaned the carb a little and changed the transmission fluid. The bike started. It is quite smoky and doesn't ride as it stalls under load. Not sure why but could be an easy fix. To get it running petrol was squirted directly into the carb. The petrol tank looks quite rusty inside and will need cleaning. Also a fuel valve will be needed but these can be bought on eBay for peanuts. There is no paperwork for the bike v5 not present and no mot or tax. The ref plates appear original to the bike but I'm not sure . This bike could be made into a road worthy classic with a little help and would be well worth doing! This could be a great restoration for somebody with the time and knowhow! Please ask if you have any issues.
