1959 Puch Alpine SR 150 scooter. matching frame and engine numbers. nbsp;Kick start. single cylinder two stroke 150cc engine. three gears. 12. 65 miles. 12" wheels with good tyres.
Have owned scooter since April 2006 when I bought it from Aberdeen which until then has had 4 owners and never left Aberdeen. First registered 03/08/1959
Registration number - NRS 180
For a 55 year scooter it starts well and drives through all the gears. probably could do with tuning as not really been used since I have owned it. The engine cover lifts forward which makes working on the engine/transmission easier. Most parts can be sourced from a company called Puchwieser in Austria which I have a parts catalog from 2012.
Jobs to be completed - electrics need sorting for the lights to work (doesnt need electrics to start and run as its a kick start) will need a battery. rear number plate
The scooter was originally two tone blue (colour blue still shown on the V5) but had been touched up over the years so decided to paint the colour it is now. I had the cream paint done by a local bodyshop but all the red was done at home and im not the best at spraying! The tool box doors will need doing again. some little scratches here and there from storage.
All the aluminium trim is there apart from a couple of running board end caps
I have the original buff log book and current V5
Scooter is not taxed or MOT'd
Included are service manuals and workshop manuals.
Theres lots of tinkering to do as with any old bike/scooter of its age. change the colour back to original? or get it road worthy as it is!
Any questions just ask!
Collection only from Wirral . erseyside. Cash on collection.

Ive had a few questions regarding the registration mark. IT IS NOT TRANSFERABLE. The previous owner applied to keep the number plate and was allowed to by the DVLA when supplying proof of matching engine/frame numbers through the Vintage Motor Scooter Club. I have the certificate from them and letter from the DVLA.
