Description

The bike is a 1950 350 cc single cylinder British motorcycle. We imported it into America in August of 2012 and first registered it here in Washington State as a collector Vehicle in October of the same year. Getting the paperwork through the state was a bitch! The model designation is 350 Model G. Most of the bike is original with some NOS and some repro parts scattered about. I have some of the original paperwork from England as well. It looks fabulous. I rode it a bit when it first arrived but just could not get the hang of moving from my Softail to the Enfield and back again safely. The shifting/brakes are opposite the American setup and I found myself just naturally going for the wrong controls too many times at the wrong time for my liking. So I just parked it and kept riding the Harley. I did not start it last summer so technically it is a non-runner tho should not be too hard to fire up. Like all old British bikes (and outboards) it takes tweaking and praying over along with regular usage to remain reliable. I am selling it 'as is'. Parts are pretty much readily available tho they come out of a company called Hitchcocks in England. I've a few books. manuals and Hitchcocks catalog to go with the bike. We are selling the bike for 2 reasons.   First I don't ride it as described above.   Secondly we have a '52 Panhead coming into the family next week and need to make room in the garage. There is also a Harbor Freight trailer that we converted into a single bike hauler that could go away with the bike for a little extra $$ when the bike is picked up if you don't have a truck to haul it with. Should the price break $6000 the trailer is included for free. Cash only with a $500 PayPal deposit within 48 hours of auction close.   No funny 'pay more with refunds' or such scams. Plain old American greenbacks only.
