In this auction we have a 1967 250cc Royal Enfield Continental GT that has a barn fresh patina. a few extra parts. and a strong running motor.  Here is a video of it being started and idling: click here.  Some of the details are listed below:

High points:

*Transmission shifts through all five gears

*Motor starts easily and idles appropriately ?€“ it runs well (please see video)

*These motorcycles are plentiful in the UK. but are quite rare in the United States.

*It is one of the sought after bikes for those seeking an authentic 60s era cafe racer

*Comes with the original front fender with a replacement fender blank ?€“ this will allow you to replicate the original looks and have access to and a reference point for the appropriate hardware.

*Comes with a corrrect tachometer replacement as shown in the photos

*We also have a replacement speedometer we are working to locate in the shop ?€“ we will add it to the auction if we find it in our inventory.

*There is also a reproduction foot brake pedal we will include if we locate it.

*While this has been spilled in its past life. the bike is unaltered and comes with many original parts in working or restorable condition with a straight. functional frame.

*Original muffler and exhaust are in fair shape and could be restored

*Wiring harness is in fair shape and could be salvageable ?€“ it is all hooked up and the ignition is working so we believe it is in fair condition throughout.

*Tach drive is in working condition.

*New battery is installed so you can test it as soon as you get it.

Low points:

*Rear rim is bent.

*Front rim is unbent. but is a correct replacement ?€“ it was not the original from the factory that came with this specific bike

*Front fork tubes are bent from original spill ?€“ can be straightened or replaced

*Swing arm is bent from original spill ?€“ can also be straightened or replaced

*Current gauges are in poor condition. but could potentially have salvageable parts

*Seat is missing. but available from Enfield suppliers in England along with any other restoration or replacement parts you may need.

*Neck is missing for the gas cap ?€“ please review tank and cap photo for details.

*There are typical signs of age related wear and tear aside from what has been specified above ?€“ please review photos.

*No title is available but we provide a bill of sale.

Overall. this is a nice machine that could easily be restored and would be a great representation of the type of Cafe Racers people were parking in front of the Aces Cafe. While you might not do a ton with this. you'll look the part and have a cool machine that hasn't typically made it across the pond to the U. S.
