Royal Enfield Bullet 350/500c **RIGID FRAME ONLY** Chopper,Bobber, Chop, Classic

HiI have a Rigid rear end for Royal Enfield Bullets 350/500cc. Please check the pics to see this frame fitted to a previous project. It's British made following previous problems using Indian made products. The frame is beautifully made with great proportions following a straight line from the Headstock to the rear axle plates. A stretch of 6". The bottom rail bolts to the existing frame mounts and at the footrest mounts. The top rail can either be welded or bolted. A brace runs under the engine and bolts to the front lower engine mount for added rigidity.  ***Please note: As with all Enfields that have an element of hand-made production direct from the factory this frame may need some juggling to fit and is entirely dependant upon the manufacture of your bike which I obviously can't account for. If you check the Hitchcocks website they show items fitted to standard machines which vary from bike to bike when in theory all bikes should be the same*** The frames should fit fairly easily but please be aware that minor fettling and adjustment may be required to the frame and/or the underslung brace. This. however is not always the case and is the luck of the draw whether it bolts straight on. (If your bike has a quick release rear hub it may be necessary to grind a small portion out of the left hand rear axle plate as is done on this one). Having said that. The frame shown was fitted. aligned and welded in under a couple of hours and a standard Enfield could be transformed into the chop you see in basic format within half a day. In most cases this will bolt directly on however worst case scenario it's certainly within the abilities of someone with basic welding and fabrication skills. I'm just being honest so that nobody finds themselves out of their depth. This is a direct fit for 4 speed Enfields and can also be used on 5 speeds although an additional boss is required to bring the rear brake mechanism across to the right hand side of the bike. This is a sleek. neat and well designed frame that minimises the amount of brackets and tube work and offers a good basis for producing a cool. vintage style chop. *********************************************** Please note that this auction is for the weld on/bolt on REAR FRAME SECTION ONLY.
