Sachs xtc 125 2T two stroke. almost finished project, spares or repairs.

Here is my Sachs xtc 125 for sale as a running project. nearly ready for MOT.

I had hoped to get this bike back on the road but lack of time means I haven't been able to finish it. which is a shame as I like the bike and it is getting rare now.

The bike starts and runs quite sweet and smoothly but will need a final mixture tweak as it fluffs under load with the throttle open fully.

The clutch seems fine. good tyres and brakes. these seem quite sharp and stop it very nicely.

Mechanically the bike seems ok apart from the mixture. but it is a project bike that has been off the road for a couple of years so spares or repairs as it 

Will need a few bits doing to re-commission.  

Bad bits. the body has a few scratches on and would benefit from a re-spray but doesn't look bad at a distance. /p>

No MOT or tax. on SORN. /p>

Couple of cracks in the body plastics but nothing too bad. typical Sachs. /p>

Aftermarket front screen painted matt black. /p>

Needs a clean as it has been dry stored in a barn.

I have since buying the bike replaced the powervalve stepper motor with a good second hand one and new powervalve cables. /p>

New throttle cable.

Few other little repairs.

Sorted out a couple of wiring gremlins. /p>

The mileage and speedo are in km NOT mph

It is a complete bike that looks stunning with the exposed lattice frame work. like a baby ducati. /p>

It also has an aprilia rs125 silencer on. which sounds nice but not loud.

It will need to be collected in a van or on a trailer. cash on collection only.
