Beamish Suzuki/Twin Shock Trials/RL250

Here for sale is my Suzuki Beamish Twin Shock Trials Bike. Its is the silver engine in the chrome frame model which dates it to approximately 1976. The bike has recently had the stator sent away to be rewound. new throttle cable and front brake cable. and new fork seals which now have a lovely action. The biggest problem I have had with the bike was the woeful front brake.  I have had new shoes fitted but these and the wheel were sent away and the shoes machined to match the hub which now gives a great front brake. I have also fitted new side panels bought from the Beamish owners club who have been brilliant and stock pretty much most spares you could wish for. The bad bits are the seat which really does need re-covering at some point soon although being a trails bike this has never affected the ridding but would transform the look of the bike. The tank could also do with a respray at some point but again this does not affect the bike too much. Since the new stator the bikes starts perfectly and has never let me down.  It has been ridden in local trials mainly sand and dirt as there are no rocks to ride on here. If you are looking to get into twin-shock trials this would be perfect and it a great chance to get one of these bikes that are only going up in value.  A lot of the ones for sale now seem to have been restored to within an inch of their lives.  This one has not and has a multitude of knocks and scathes as you would expect from a nearly 40 year old trials bike.
