1978 SUZUKI BLACK/YELLOW

Suzuki T. S 250 c. c. i trail motorcycle

This is bumblebee's little brother. it was rescued from a friends back garden after 17 years encased in ivy.

It has been lovingly restored but not to it's original colours. I had to do a complete rebuild and engine overhaul as 17 years of being left to the wilderness took it's toll. I know the mileage says 26638 but really it's only done 500 since the engine overhaul.

It has played with the big bikes at Newlands corner and is definitely a talking point each time I take it out for an airing. Bumblebee jnr is taxed and Mot'd until Nov 2015. ignore the tax disk in the picture as yes it is out of date but. as you don't get issued with tax disks anymore. I believe it doesn't look right without one.

Technical bits; The rev counter on the bike doesn't work due to a drive in the gearbox is missing. honestly though if your a bike fan you should know when to change gear by the sound. as this bike has some sound. There are no indicators on it either as it was not a legal requirement on motorcycles registered  before 1986.

New bits; The engine has had a complete overhaul. new battery. new tyres. new rear chain. new seat covered (professionally of course). nbsp;new power reeds. nbsp;new final drive sprocket cover and pump cover etc. etc. you get the idea.

Lets put it this way after 17 years sitting in a garden being molested and abused by ivy and having nitramol tipped over it. it is now a fun bike that is always a talking point whenever it goes out and it's a good runner. I want it to go to a good home as I am looking at starting a new project and need the room.
