I built this bike from a salvage title bike back in 2009. The bike had just been laid down and the frame and engine and one side was perfect. It was put together by the best parts and to the absolute best quality I knew of back then. I have a long history of drag racing motorcycles. It took me about 9 months to built it and it was finished in October of 2009. I took it to my local track in Bowling Green. KY "Beech Bend drag way" two times that year before the track closed for the winter and then never raced it again. The organization that I used to race at is now bankrupt or no longer in existence. "Prostar" This bike has been sitting in my garage now for 4 years not being used or moving. I start it about every month to keep the engine top end lubed. I kept thinking that one day I'd get the ambition to go racing again. Used to have 2 of these bikes. sold one last summer. nbsp;still thinking I'd race again. I've come to the realization that I just have no desire to race anymore. Spending a whole day or weekend at the track just doesn't sound like fun anymore. As far as I know. this bike and motor is in excellent shape. Motor is a 2003 cases with a 2009 crank. JE pistons in it making it the CC's of 1441. nbsp; Has a 12 inch over swingarm made for it that extremely strong with the air bottle built in to it. Frame was racked by Macitosh. and then power coated black. Looks incredible. Custom made high back seat. aftermarket "forgot brand" tail section. I installed it in a way that should prevent it from cracking up. Look at other bikes with long tail sections and around the mounting bolts they typically always crack. I mounted this one in a way that tail section is mounted with bolts up front and then I fiber glasssed a foam mounting support for the rear so the entire thing can flex and move. then reinforced the mounting holes for the bolts. It working perfectly and I put a ton of time into it. One side fairing and the tail section was repainted back to factory colors and look perfect. I put a chrome logo on the repainted side fairing and meant to put a chrome on the other side but never did. Chrome ones look great. Vance and Hines sidewinder pipe. After market triple tree. Has 24 volt starting system. Put two new batteries in it last summer. Has an added digital tachometer that can blink and does all sorts of cool things. original dash tach still works. has a dyna shift light. Pingle air shifter. Has a single stage nitrous system on it. that was hooked up to the horn button. I have recently changed a few things and it's not hooked up to anything. The Nitrous was never used. On board air compressor. Has a power commander. Rear shock has been reworked so the rebound is very slow. As for the the bike runs. I went to the track twice in 2009 . this track is typically extremely busy for test and tune nights. I truthfully never made a single adjustment to the bike. never had time. I believe one night I got 3 passes and the next night I got 4 passes. This pretty much added to my loss of interest. since this track is so busy it makes it impossible to make adjustments. I never changed the gearing or adjusted the power commander. The amount of power in this bike is still a complete unknown. My passes those two nights were in the low 8:80's at 156 mph. 60 foots were pretty bad for me. which were in the high 1:40's. This bike should be able to do low 1:40's and high 1:30's. Has a Brock Davison clutch in it. Don't remember which one or the details but does not have a lock up or slider. Again remember. these numbers were right off the bench with no tuning or trail and error. The bike on the big end did pull very hard. and think 8:70's would be no problem at all on gas. Oh. and one more important thing. that was on pump gas. I didn't have any access at the time to use any race fuel. Compression is higher then stock. but don't really remember. pistons were made by JE. And they are their typical 1397 style pistons but I added the crank out of a 2009 so it's a stroker motor. I have the time slips somewhere that I can post or email you. For anyone that is seriously interested. you can call me or email me. Please. do not call or email if you're not serious about buying. I'm extremely busy. This bike is a quality built bike. this was suppose to be my dream bike that I was wanting to bracket race in the 8:60 range and run 8:20's on nitrous. I just lost interest and never finished it. Never dreamed I would be selling it. My phone is 6 15 . 42 9. 0204 you can email me here at the ebay. I would consider all options for meeting somewhere. I'm not likely going to ship the bike. I would prefer we meet somewhere. I could be talked into meeting at a track somewhere. but there is no chance I'm going to do this unless you prove your a willing buyer and possible pay my gas up front. which I would refund in the event you buy the bike. Hopefully that answers most questions. I live near Nashville. TN. I have over $18. 00. 00 invested into this bike. and unimaginable personal hours into making this bike.
Since I wrote this article above. I had someone else ride this bike at an 1/8 mile track. He weight about 140 pounds and the bike went high 5. 40's on it. His 60 foots were in the 1. 38 range. Something I doubt most people could do. but he did it. And the bike is now lower and with out a front fender from the pictures. New front tire and rear tire.
