For sale is my Suzuki GS1000 G Motorbike

The bike is in good condition and has had a few bits done to it by the previous owner. It was manufactured in the US in 1983 but imported to the UK in 1996. hence the number plate ending in Y.

The previous owner changed the clocks. hence the low milage shown. They also put a new 4 into 1 Motad exhaust system on it. They also fitted K&N filters and changed carbs and jets accordingly.

The bike is MOTed and ready to ride away.

As the bike had been stood a while at the previous owners the cable that operates the rev counter seems to be a bit dry and the rev counter works but is jumpy and sometimes only shows 3-4000 revs which is clearly not true! Will be an easy fix. just haven't had time! We have run the bike a fair bit but its probably getting time for a service. though it was done around a yr ago by previous owner.

There are a couple of paint chips on the tank and a very slight dent (can be seen in pictures).

To put it simply. I have been after a GS1000 for some time and found two at once! I have decided to keep the other as it is a GS1000L import and a different bike. plus its a project to keep me quiet over the winter!
