This Gt550 runs beautifully! Fires up on the first kick! The bike is currently kick-start only. theelectric start system does not currently work for some reason. Fires on all cylinders throughout the powerband. this bike sings!Recent modifications and upgrades include:-BRAND NEW AGM spill-free battery-Brand NEW upgraded fuel petcock (bypasses the commonly faulty vacuuum type from the factory)-GT750 Seat; although I like the looks of this one better than the original. it's not perfect fit hinge-wise. so it's currently not bolted to the seat hinges. I'll let the next owner decide whether they'll keep it or not-Original paint!-All lighting works 100%-The electronic gear position display works! (rarely seen. as this technology was way ahead of it's time)-Fresh gear-case oil change!-Oil injection system operates perfectly. as it shouldOverall. the bike shows it's age; the bones are good but the chrome shows it's age. with pitting here and there. some common areas. like the chain guard. are worse than others.
