OK where do I begin?!So I've had this DRZ since it had 1000 miles on the clock and she goes by the name Daisy-Su. she likes long walks and enjoys her oil changed every 2. 00 miles. I kitted this bike out with doing a pan-continental overlanding trip. (I have been known to do that sort of craziness). Alas. this bike has only been enjoyed around Europe and some green lanes in Surrey. it is going to be cheaper for me to buy a bike where I'm going than to transport her there. So what do we have here for sale?I am selling my 56 plate black DRZ 400 SM including a set of S wheels fitted. Engine case protection: and ThumperTalk bash-plate fitted. Aqualine Safari 17L fuel tank (measures 20L filled). A full FMF PowerCore 4 exhaust system included with FMF PowerBomb. Carb rejetted for stage 2 with a 3x3 air-box modCorbin seat (a little tatty but still comfortable. could do with a bit of re-upholstering but not the end of the world. just check the value of these seats for a guide price of what they're worth. The tears have not altered in a long time. but have been quoted by an upholsterer around ?40. I just never got round to doing it. Luggage racks. top rack and side racks to accommodate the Wolfman Saddlebags (included). Up on the handling front I have a Renthal Dakar hi-bar handlebar with Zeta levers and Zeta lever guards. nbsp;Down on the feet I've replaced with DRC pegs for standing comfort. I've also replaced the tail-light with a DRC Edge 2 with some LED indicators with relaysI currently have a Michellin AC10 fitted on the rear S wheel with about 100-200 miles on it. fitted in the summer for some green lanes. I've not ridden much at all since summer. Front S wheel is a Heindenau K60 (I wont lie. I used this wheel to ride the whole length of Africa in 2010. it's covered way over 20K miles and still going strong and is road legal). SM wheels are still quite tidy. the SM tyres are Michellin Pilot Road tyres (I find in the UK they are the best tyres for our weather). This bike features greatly in my Med-Trip Series on Youtube (An episode below)
Reason for sale: I'm due to emigrate soon and wish to consolidate all my assets. presently she's camping out in the garden with the battery on a tender indoors. she's feeling very unloved at the moment. On 17-Feb-15 at 16:50:42 GMT. seller added the following information:
I forgot to mention. I am including both side stands (with springs) for the change in height of the bike with the different wheels. I also am including both OE speedo-drives for the conversion of the front wheel diameter. this allows you to get an accurate speed/distance reading depending on which wheel set you're using.
