1990 GSXR 400 GK76a Painted in Grand Candy Blue. (Telefonica colour) 17. 00 miles (kilometer speedo with overlay mph graphic) This has been my project over the last 2 years. I have fitted new fork seals. front and rear brake disk's. rear pads. new coils. ht leads. plug caps. plugs. crank pickup. used starter. used carbs. (o-rings in good condition) oil and filter. New screen. I have striped the engine down to block base gasket. all bores. pistons. rings. conrods. camshafts. head are in good condition. I relapped all the valves and moved shims around to get all valve clearances within tolerance. Then rebuilt with new gaskets. The carbs are balance and mixture has been set all through the rev range on a dyno. It is producing 59 bhp at about 13. 00 rpm. running very nice. I also have spare coils. cdi. and one side panel in silver. I will MOT when sale agreed the only bad bit is the last picture. where the tank paint has flaked of as the flange wasn't prepared properly before paint was applied. this could possibly be airbrushed in. Was going to get this redone but will be March before the paintshop can fit it in.
