Description

Please be advised that my bike has been sold. only 21 hours after I listed it. Thanks to all who contacted me to register their interest. For sale is my cherished Suzuki GSXR750Y. fuel injected model in superb condition which I have owned from new and I have agonized long and hard about selling.  Before I bought the GSXR I had usually changed my bike every two years but once I rode it. nbsp;I felt I'd finally found a bike which not only looked great in the classic GSXR colours. it was also so exhilarating and rewarding to ride and after that I never really seriously looked at another bike hence my ownership for almost 15 years. Even now. it feels crisp and responsive and it's a joy to ride.  I am now only selling the bike as I'm in my early 50s and although the GSXR riding position is actually not that radical (and more akin to a CBR600F I'd say). I really need a bike with a more upright riding position.  The bike is in such good condition that people often think the W plate is a private one and that the bike is almost new and this is because I have really taken care of it. only used it in summer and rarely got caught out in the rain. The photos tell it all. In terms of it's service history. it has been carefully maintained since new. and I have a detailed record of all services. replacement parts etc on a spreadsheet accompaniedby receipts. tax discs and MOTs along with the owners handbook. sales invoice and original V5.  You will notice that the speedo shows 11. 80 miles (when photos were takenlast summer) andthe mileage is 11. 39 miles today although the bike has done 15. 62 miles. This is because Suzuki replaced the speedo in the first year as the digital clock stopped working and I have documentation to back this up.  Everything works as it should and I changed the tyres for some Michelin Pilot Power 2CTs around 1000 miles ago which are hardly worn and I also replaced the battery with a top quality Yuasa one about a year ago.  The bke is currently on a SORN as I don't use it over winter so the tax expired last October. The bike has a Turnbull T3000 immobiliser and Suzuki Alphadot security so this helps with insurance although I only pay around ? 125 fully comprehensive and of course the bike should qualify for classic insurance from May this year.  In terms of faults. the bike is in excellent overall condition and as you might expect after 15 years. it has the odd mark here and there. Ones worth mentioning are. nbsp;a long scratch at the very bottom of the right hand fairing which is hard to see as it's so far down (and I have added a photo of this). nbsp;a crack in the front mudguard where it attaches to the n/s fork leg however it's out of sight (and has never affected its MOT pass) and a scrape on the plastic of the nearside mirror. Even taking these into account. if you stand 6 feet away you will just be amazed by its condition. As you can see from the photos. the bike is in outstanding condition and I hope that whoever buys it will take great care of it as there really are very few bikes of this age in this condition. and it will probably appreciate in value from this point. If I could keep it I would but I just don't have the space.  The bike will be sold as seen and I won't allow any test rides for obvious reasons. In terms of payment. I will release the bike once funds have been transferred to my account as I don't want to risk letting the bike go without definite payment.  This is a classified ad and although I will consider offers below the advertised price. I will only consider sensible ones because. nbsp;frankly. the bike is a unique in my opinion and I am really keen that the person who buys it appreciates its value. Hopefully the photos and the description give you a good overall impression of the bike and of course I'm happy to hear from genuinely interested parties.
