Description

Suzuki TS50 XKR 1998. Sold when new on 3rd Oct '98. Just been MOT'd on 24th Feb and passed with no advisories. Clean looking bike. oes have the odd scratch on the plastic. ne or two small chips to the paint and the small tear on the seat but overall it's very presentable. The gaitors are new but aren't hiding anything the fork stancions are in very good condition underneath. V5c is in my name. According to some of the old paperwork i think it was stolen/recovered at some stage (about 10 yrs ago ) and appears to have been bought back by the owner. It doesn't seem to have been butchered though. he key fits all the locks. one of the lugs on the plastic are broken . verything looks straight. The numbers on the frame plate matches the paperwork and the frame (under the seat) and swingarm still have the original ink-jet type printing of the frame number. I checked it against the Reg number and it doesn't come up as being stolen but was an insurance loss when it was stolen. doesn't seem to be listed Cat c or d ( although this doesn't prevent it from being used on the road again anyway. ). The number is visible in the pics please satisfy yourself . s it only costs a few quid. The engine number is missing though. his should be on a flange just above the drive sprocket but that piece has broken off. This doesn't really affect anything like MOT's ( i once registered an ex USAF pick-up without knowing the engine number ) but it might bother some people. It still has the original owners manual and service book with it which has the details of its original sale. eg number etc so i think it's a pretty genuine little bike. Please check my feedback and feel free to ask any questions. No reserve and i won't end sale early. Collection only. ambridge area. It does have 'bar mounted mirrors with it. i'd taken them off so i didn't walk into them in the shed and forgot to put them back on for the photos!
